Looking to set up a company in the Middle East?
Unincorporated Association Agreements (UAA)
For certain new companies in the region, Links might recommend and assist with an Unincorporated Association Agreement (UAA). UAAs are especially suitable for fledgling businesses testing the water, or foreign companies requiring 'incubator' or fledgling business assistance.
For specific projects in the UAE, the law permits the formation of a joint participation between two or more partners. The advantage of this structure is that it doesn’t need to be formally registered, and can therefore be established immediately.
In normal circumstances the joint participation would trade under the name and trade licence of the locally registered partner. However, with The Links Group, it allows the UAA arrangement to trade under its own name, citing Links as an associated partner.
